Our journey began 13 years ago, when we decided to remodel and adapt all our facilities, so that our visitors could enjoy this paradise in the Colombian Caribbean, which for so many years remained hidden from the rest of the world.
During this time we have worked to build a meaningful connection with the community and the biodiverse environment around us.
At Hotel Mucura Club, we feel deeply responsible for protecting and preserving the natural environment that surrounds us.
Located in the beautiful Colombian Caribbean, we strive to minimize our environmental impact and promote sustainable practices for the benefit of our community and future generations.
Saving energy and water, reducing waste, recycling, cleaning our beaches and seas and conserving the biodiversity that surrounds us are actions that govern our daily lives.
"Traveler, we invite you to reduce your carbon footprint!"
Teamwork
We work to build a meaningful relationship between the hotel and the community, providing work with all the benefits and promoting the education and development of the island's inhabitants. We believe in contributing to the benefit of the community for generations to come and in having a positive impact on the local community of Isla Múcura, so that our visitors can contribute to the local economy. Most of our employees are native residents of the island or nearby islands.
The island
The hotel is part of an island declared as a protected marine coral area and as a National Natural Park under the name of Corales del Rosario and San Bernardo National Natural Park . The park's marine protected area is supervised and controlled by the Colombian National Natural Parks Unit as a state agent for environmental surveillance and control. At Múcura Club Hotel we have a broad environmental awareness of respect and appreciation of the existing marine ecosystem and sustainable tourism, through appropriate practices of tourist and recreational services.
